Games Rules
FRINGER

Fringers get 5 extra points to spend in traits and skills because they are the wild cards of the
game. They also gain the ability "Barter" which allows them to, once per game session, lower the
price of an item on a simple challenge. They must WIN the simple. They also start with the
following free points:

1 Survival
1 Spot
1 Knowledge (Of there choice)

Free Feats:
  • Weapon Group: Simple, Blaster Pistol

Class Feats
  • Barter- +2 traits resolution bonus for Selling and Buying equipment.
  • Adaptive Learning- Chose 2 Skills that are not Class Skills and they become Class Skills.
  • Jury Rig- +2 trait resolution bonus for Jury Rigging.
  • Survival- +2 Trait resolution bonus for survival.

In Class Skills- Climb, Craft, Dodge, Handle Animal, Hide, Jump, Knowledge, Listen, Pilot,
Profession, Ride, Search, Spot, Survival, Swim.

NOBLE

Nobles are not prohibited by the reputation/Influence rule when creating there characters. They
also start out with the following free points:

1 Diplomacy
1 Influence of choice
1 Resource

Free Feats:
  • Weapon Group: Simple, Blaster Pistol

Class Feats
  • Inspire Confidence- +1 Trait resolution bonus for Defense for Allies for scene when Noble
    preps prior to scene.
  • Command- +1 trait resolution bonus for Attack for Allies for a scene when Noble preps prior
    to scene.
  • Bonus Class Skill- Chose 2 skills that are not class skills and they become class skills.
  • Call in Favor- Per session Noble may double the effectiveness of his influence.

In Class Skills- Appraise, Computer Use, Craft, Dodge, Diplomacy, Disguise, Entertain,
Knowledge, Profession, Read/Write Languages, Ride, Sense, Motive, Speak Languages, Survival.

Scoundrel

Scoundrels now have the ability "Seek Weakness". What this does is a player may seek weakness
by declaring what trait category they want to know of. If they WIN a simple they now know how many
negative traits they have in that category. this can only be done one time per person a game
session. They also start with the following free points:

1 Dodge
1 Street Influence
1 Pilot

Free Feats:
  • Weapon Group: Simple, Blaster Pistol

Class Feats
  • Illicit Barter- Scoundrel may chose an area of expertise that he can Down Grade the
    available for that type of item.
  • Better Lucky Than Good- Free retest per session.
  • Skill Emphasis- Scoundrel may chose an area of expertise to get a one time bonus of +4 to
    that Skill. (Feat not stackable, each purchase applies to new skill)
  • Sneak Attack- Scoundrel does 1 extra wound damage if the target of effect cannot defend
    himself. IE. tied up, caught by surprise, Flanked.

In Class Skills- Appraise, Astrogate, Bluff, Computer Use, Craft, Demolitions, Dodge, Disable
Device, Disguise, Hide, Knowledge, Listen, Move Silently, Pilot, Profession, Repair, Search, Slight
of Hand, Spot, Tumble, Survival.

SCOUT

Scouts now have the ability "Know Health". What this does is a player may try to know what the
health level is of a character. They must WIN the simple and it can only be done one time per
character a game session. They also start with the following free points:

1 Spot
1 Listen
1 Survival

Free Feats:
  • Weapon Group: Simple, Blaster Pistol, Blaster Rifle

Class Feats
  • Bonus General Feat- The Feats Skill Emphasis, Starship Operation(Space Transport,
    Starfighter), or Track, at 1 less Exp cost.
  • Trail Blazing- The Scout can reduce his travel time by 10% each time the Scout takes this
    skill to a maximum of 50% reduction.
  • Uncanny Dodge- Receives +1 to trait resolutions when using the dodge ability.
  • Skill Mastery- +4 Class Skill of choice.

In Class Skills- Astrogate, Climb, Computer Use, Crafts, Demolitions, Dodge, Disguise, Hide,
Jump, Knowledge, Listen, Move Silently, Pilot, Profession, Read/Write Languages, Repair, Ride,
Search, Speak Language, Spot, Survival, Swim.

SOLDIER

Soldiers now have the ability "Know Your Own". What this does is a player may try to know what
faction someone belongs to. They must WIN a simple and it can only be done one time per
character a game session. They also start with the following free points:

1 Arsenal
1 Weapon Retest of Choice
1 Dodge

Free Feats:
  • Weapon Group: Simple, Blaster Pistol, Blaster Rifle, Heavy, Vibro
  • Armor Proficiency: Light

Class Feats
  • Medium Armor- Can use Medium Armor.
  • Heavy Armor- Can use Heavy Armor.
  • Bonus Feats- All feats relating to combat cost 1 less Exp to purchase.You do not buy this
    feat you buy into this feat, for example when you buy dodge you buy Bonus Feat: Dodge
    which costs 3 xp instead of 4 xp.

In Class Skills- Astrogate, Computer Use, Craft, Demolitions, Dodge, Intimidate, Knowledge, Pilot,
Profession, Repair, Treat Injury, Survival.

TECH SPECIALIST

Techs now have the ability "Over Work". What this does is a Tech may double either the amount of
work or shorten the time of work that they do. It can only be used ONCE per month. They also start
with the following free points:

1 Craft of choice
1 Knowledge of choice
1 University Influence

Free Feats:
  • Weapon Group: Simple

Class Feats
  • Research- Add reputation to knowledge checks.
  • Instant Mastery- +4 trait resolution for class skill (one time use, not stackable).
  • Tech Specialty- +1 trait resolution for either computer use or repair.
  • Expert- +2 trait resolution for Craft or Profession.
