Games Rules
It be the Factions: Choose your side.. or not
Imperial- You know 'em you love/hate 'em, they have the biggest military budget in that galaxy so
that means, that's right... they got the fun toys. Being Imperial means you have the law to uphold
and rebellions to put down, but don't let that spoil your fun every Stormtrooper needs some R&R,
go down to the local cantina and get some Twi'Lek dancers and go wild.
Imperial Rule:
You gain one free retest on any charisma challenge once per night. This is so because most
people and factions are afraid of them.
Rebel Alliance- Ah, the "good" guys, bad if your Imperial or just don't like 'em. Being a rebel means
that you need to keep a low profile and undertake missions that are normally more hazardous than
normal, because you got an Imperial war machine to put down and who's gonna do that, that
whiney bastard, Luke Skywhatever? I think not.
Rebel Training:
Once per game, you may gain a bonus to any skill check, ability check or attack equal to half you
rep rounded down.
Bounty Hunters Guild- IG-88, Jango Fett, Boba Fett, all good Bounty Hunters but you could be
better... *snicker* BWAHAHAHAHAHA.... what am I saying they would all kick you butt, and Jango
Fett is dead, and he still would kick you butt. But don't let that get you down everybody has to start
some where. It's fun being a Bounty Hunter, also you get to make your own hours and take long
vacations, and you get the reputation of being a Bad-Ass MoFo. That is if your good enough.
Contract Hunter:
You may make a chop to find a contract that is not public knowledge.
CorSec(Corellian Security)- THE Paramilitary Police force in the galaxy. Also they are kinda like
Sweden, Neutral to the freaking core. But, that's not all bad as they could probly kick some Imperial
butt across their sector. They do have their own fleet of older Victory Class Star Destroyers which
the Imperials sold them for like 5 bucks I think. I would of given them 10 maybe even 20 bucks.
With being a part of CorSec means you need to protect Corellian space and trade routes from
anything that might threaten them, it's not just a job, it's an adventure, or whatever.
Criminal Investigation:
You gain a +3 bonus on Bluff, Gather Information, Listen, and Spot checks made to investigate a
crime or gather information on a KNOWN criminal.
Dark Talons- THE, and I mean THE, mercenary force in Star Wars. You can't start being a Dark
Talon, with out ST permission, but they do look around for new recruits every year. Being a Dark
Talon means that you complete the assigned mission NO MATTER WHAT, even your life. But they
got great dental.
If you do get recruited by the Dark Talons, they pay off your old faction so you do not pick up Rouge
nor are you known as a defector. You left on good terms.
Independent- You work for yourself and no other. Being Independent allows you to make your own
choices and say "screw you" to whom ever, except Vader, I dare you to say it to Vader. With being
with no faction you have no starting reputation you gotta earn that, but also you're not on the bad
side of anybody, yet. This is a good "faction" to start if you want to start a merc company or start a
business or whatever.
Black-Sun- The most evil Crime syndicate in the galaxy, even more so than the Hutts. I mean they
tried to take over the Empire. Darth Maul almost destroyed them before the Clone Wars, they got a
long and rich history, but who care about that. Being part of these guys mean that you are pretty
much a hired goon who get his/her orders and then carries it out for the profit of the Black-Sun. But
don't tell people that you work for' em they might shoot you than look at you.
Underworld Connections:
You may do any illegal act as long as it is not Difficult. This can be anything from getting illegal
weapons and items to stealing a normal item or vehicle to getting information. (This is all up to the
ST)
Hutt Crime Syndicate- The most well known and operated Syndicate, while not always in illegal
activities, they have the most profit. Plus you get a slug as your boss, yay. Every body puts up with
the Hutts because they always got something they need, so sit down and make some deals they
need cash and your it.
Piece of the Action:
Whenever you do a job for someone you gain 10% more from the base pay.
Bothan Spy Network- The best Spy Network, and most connected. Being a spy is dangerous, and
the rewards are more or less a pat on the back. You can also sell the info you acquire to whom
ever. Can't really tell you much more, they might kill me for being a leak(actually I cant think of
anything else).
*Choose One*
False Identity:
You start off with a second identity and all the information and background to cover it. A Player must
be bidding 20+ traits in order to attempt to discover that it is fake.
Information Debt:
You may ask the Bothan Spy Network for any information. You get 1 question per 2 points of
reputation.
Mistryl Shadow Guards- Their sleek, their sexy, they'll kick your butt and you'll like it. This is a chick
only faction, NO MEN! Don't tick these women off though, bad things will happen to you, like death.
Heart of Vengeance:
Once pre game, when you are dropped to 0 or less vitality, you may spend 2 willpower to chop until
you LOSE (ties count as wins). Each chop you win, you gain 1 vitality back. This feat does not go
against your total willpower spending with reputation.
NOTE: You can only start with this faction at CC, unless you earn in game.
Noble House of the United Systems- These are the guys you really don't want to mess with. Think
of this as a glee club for nobles, except if you give these guys a wedgie you better be prepared for
nasty things to happen.
Untouchable:
When dealing with law enforcement or governmental officials, your reputation is doubled.
NOTE: This is noble only and must be picked up at CC.
CorpSec (Corporate Sector)- Profit, profit, profit. Know it, love it, acquire it. Money is all what it is
about and they'll do anything to keep the bottom line in the black as well as line their pockets with
gold. If you cross them the Corporate Sector Authority , or Espos, will set you straight.
*Choose One*
Corporate Backing:
All influences that you have works as if you have +1 Reputation.
Corporate Connections:
Certain Backgrounds (Allies, Contacts, Arsenal, Safe house, Retainer, and you get a free new
Vehicle if you do not start with the starship background) operate at +1, max 5.
